Hilton Head Island is full of events throughout the year, so there's always something fun to do! Whether you're looking for live music, outdoor activities, or cultural events, you'll find plenty of options. Spring and Fall are the most popular times of the year for festivals and events…primarily due to the fantastic weather Hilton Head Island experiences during those seasons. However, there are still a number of events that happen during the summer & winter months.
Check out the list of events below that are open to the public. Some do require a small admission charge, but many can be experienced just by visiting. Almost all of them are family friendly as well. Valentine's Day Sweetheart Cruise
The Salty Dog Café

The famous Salty Dog Café will be hosting a special Valentine’s Day Cruise around the Calibogue Sound. The cruise will be taking place on Friday, February 14th 2025 and will include a complimentary crudité platter with assorted cheeses, chips, dips and fresh vegetables. Along with the delicious platter, enjoy the world-famous Tema’s chocolate covered strawberries and a champagne toast!

Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival

The Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, which takes place every February, celebrates the island's fishing and seafood heritage and features local seafood dishes prepared by some of the best chefs in the region. This event offers samplings from more than 100 food and beverage vendors. Two stages of live entertainment, from music to celebrity chef cooking demonstrations and wine, beer, and cocktail seminars featuring award-winning cocktails and cookbook signings.

Hilton Head Wingfest
Lowcountry Celebration Park
Starts: 11:00am ‐ Ends: 5:00pm
Saturday’s event will feature 15+ local restaurants cooking their best wings. Over 8,000 lbs of chicken wings will be served at the fun-filled, family-friendly festive atmosphere. There will be many activities such as a kid’s zone, rock climbing wall and bungee jump. Cheer on or participate in the Kid’s Wing Bobbing Competition or Adult Wing Eating Contest. Vote for your favorite wing and watch the winner be crowned at 4:30pm.
