This home has an extremely open floor plan that allows an easy flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is well-appointed and spacious, and natural light fills every corner of the room through the large windows. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy and a large flat-screen TV for your entertainment. In the kitchen, there is plenty of walkway and counterspace to allow multiple people to cook simultaneously without feeling crowded. Top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and fully stocked cabinetry, and 2 refrigerators ensure that meals at home are a breeze! There is seating for 10 at the formal dining table and an additional eight bar stools in the kitchen.
The first bedroom sits on the first floor and features a king-sized bed. There is a full bathroom, complete with a single vanity and walk-in shower, outside of this room. On the mezzanine level sits the second bedroom, which features a king-sized bed and a private bathroom, that has a double vanity along with a walk-in shower and a soaking tub. On the second floor, the 3rd bedroom features an iron queen-sized bed and boasts stunning ocean views as well as a private balcony. The private ensuite bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The 4th bedroom acts as the primary suite and features a king-sized bed, oceanside seating, and stunning ocean views from the balcony. The primary bathroom has a double vanity, a makeup area, a walk-in shower, and a spa tub. The 5th bedroom has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom consisting of a double vanity, walk-in shower, and spa tub. The 6th bedroom has 2 queen-sized beds and a private bathroom complete with a shower or tub.
On the 3rd floor, you will find the remaining rooms, as well as more living space and a full kitchen! The 7th bedroom is large and features two queen-sized beds, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The bathroom has a double vanity along with a walk-in shower and spa tub. The 8th bedroom is open and has two twin-sized beds and two trundle beds, and it also doubles as another living room! Enjoy plenty of plush seating around the TV and fireplace, and enjoy your own private balcony while you soak up the ocean views. Along with a full second kitchen, there is also a washer and dryer on the third floor.
Outside, your oceanside oasis awaits! Unwind in the private pool and spa and listen to the waves crash in the near distance as you let rest and relaxation find you. There is plenty of outdoor seating, as well as pool loungers and two outdoor tables. Just a short walk over the dunes on the private boardwalk will take you to the sandy beaches. The Sandbox truly has it all!

The Town of Hilton Head Island's 2026 Beach Renourishment Project began on August 6, 2025 at Fish Haul Beach, located off Mitchelville Road on the Island's north end. This vital initiative, part of the Town's long-term beach management program, is undertaken every 8 to 10 years and aims to preserve, protect, and restore Hilton Head's valuable shoreline.
The 2026 renourishment will mirror past efforts (1990, 1997, 2006, 2016) and involves placing approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach-compatible sand across 46,500 feet of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline. Sand will be dredged from offshore shoals and pumped through extensive pipeline systems onto designated beach areas, then shaped by heavy machinery to meet specific design standards.
The $47.5 million project is divided into three phases, with work expected to last until May 2026:

During the renourishment, about 1,000-foot beach segments will be temporarily closed, with beachgoers directed around active work zones via ramps and signage. Construction is expected to proceed 24/7, moving at a pace of 200-300 feet per day, with minor disruptions lasting just a few days for any specific beachfront property

The project includes safeguards for endangered species. Activities are monitored by consultants to protect sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Per U.S. Army Corps and USFWS permit conditions, dog activity is restricted in a small area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek Beach Park. All other beaches remain under normal seasonal pet access rules.

The property is beautiful and it was clean. We were well situated and loved being at the end of the street. Originally, we were informed there was no elevator there. But, thankfully that was wrong info, which helped greatly as we loaded items in and out. The coffee maker killed over on the 2nd day, but everyone was rescued by a trip to Dunkin. Overall a great long weekend at this home at the beach. The view and location were first rate, all the travelers really enjoyed it. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We cooked a few meals while the 9 of us were here, and the kitchen is big and roomy and lots of folks can work at the same time. Overall a great time. A few small things - the appliances are showing some age - the icemaker in the kitchen fridge doesn't work and the heating elements on the stove are slow. There are a few small signs of wear on carpets and furniture - and a little cleaning could go a long way - but those are small nitpicky things. What an iconic beachfront retreat!
Our 5 families (9 adults, 10 kids) had a wonderful Spring Break at this picture-perfect oceanside home... From the spacious bedrooms and cozy living spaces to ample appliances (two dishwashers! multiple washer-dryers! bar seating for 8!) our group felt completely comfortable spread out across the house (and in the pool! And on the beautiful beach, just steps away)!
Island Time was incredibly responsive any time we texted or called, and even offered up an early check-in without us even having to ask!
My only consideration would be having more soaps/shampoos/dish pods at the home - and a bit more bedding/blankets in the rooms... For the rental price I think more of these necessities would be appropriate.

Convenient location near Coligny Circle yet tucked away on its own beach area and private road. The house is steps from the ocean so it’s easy to run back to the house for more toys etc. There is plenty of room for multigenerational guests. The elevator that goes top to bottom is ideal for unloading groceries straight from the car to the kitchen. Second full kitchen and full laundry room on top floor make everything convenient for everybody. This visit was an unusual situation with trash pick up. The bins were full when we arrived and trash was not removed the full week we were there. No regrets whatsoever. The house was perfect, a little dated, but certainly met and exceeded our expectations. The elevator allowed my mom to see the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We were able to have family meals, chill by the pool/hot tub an enjoy the ocean without having to take more than a few steps. We all were able to see gorgeous sunrises, a family of stingray frequented the beach, twice we saw dolphins and we had a sea turtle nest (that did not hatch; something we were all hoping for) right by our house. We rented bikes and many of us ventured to the Coligny Plaza almost daily. My son and his wife biked almost everywhere. The island offered something for everyone and this home allowed my mom to give us memories to last a lifetime. Each bedroom with bathroom offered comfort and space. The outside balconies provided a spectacular view. The living area, kitchen and dining area was spacious and allowed us to gather for movies, game night, puzzles --- and several home cooked meals. Having a grill was a nice extra. There was not a kitchen appliance that was not available and SO MANY other things that you could cook a meal for 2 or a meal for 20. The 3rd level had its own kitchen and dining space as well as a washer and dryer. The main floor laundry space had a top of the line washer and dryer, sink and ironing board; plus lots of SPACE. All bedrooms and common living spaces had TV's; simple to use. I do not think anyone will be disappointed in renting this home. The home sits at the end of a DEAD-END drive; there is room for four cars to be parked under the home; if you rent bikes; you can lock to a tree or fire hydrant. Throughout the whole rental process, the Island Time staff was always helpful and kind. I hope to come back to Hilton Head and will rent again with Island Time. Five couples had room to spare in this lovely, well equipped home with views of the beach and sounds of the surf! We had all the equipment needed for Low Country Boil and beach breakfasts! The home is a short bike ride from Coligny and many restaurants. Beds and furnishings were all comfortable, and the bathrooms were sizable and sparkling clean. One coffee maker was not working and was quickly replaced by manager. Do be careful - the house is at the end of a narrow street blocked by a wall.
