1204 Villamare

This property was very comfortable and homey. The bathrooms and showers were spacious. The beds were comfortable. Super clean and had everything we needed. I loved sitting on the balcony. This unit's balcony was in shade most of the day, making it easy to relax and read without the sun in my eyes. The view of the ocean is better than it shows in the picture and getting to the ocean is quick and easy.

Our family of 5 had an incredible week at 1204 Villamare. We have stayed at numerous condos within Villamare and this was one of the best — very clean and tastefully updated and a great location within the Villamare complex. Our vacation and two week stay was terrific and everything we expected. Having stayed in Palmetto Dunes and rented a property in Villamare before, we have always liked the location, amenities and close proximity to the beach. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located with easy and quick access to all Hilton Head Island activities. The main complaint we had with the 1204 Villamare property was with the living room furniture. Couch and chairs were oversized and very uncomfortable to sit and relax, read or watch TV. We did not realize at first the couch was a hide-away bed. Would suggest the kitchen also be equipped with a tea kettle. Dealing with Island Time rental personnel and also communicating by text messages was very pleasant and efficient.

First, Villamare is a really nice complex. Easy beach access, nice pools, workout room, convenient location.We've stayed in several Villamare properties, and 1204 is our favorite. The interior is in excellent condition, and there is a genuine, beautiful view of the ocean.Island Time is the third agency we have worked with on a Hilton Head vacation...and they are the best...actually awesome.

We loved our stay at this beautiful recently renovated condo. Great view and location as well. My only complaint is that the actual cost differed from my total at VRBO checkout because apparently the rental company charges 40 for a single parking pass and I did not see this anywhere in the listing.

We loved our stay at this condo. The pictures match what you see. The views are of the fountain, poll and ocean. The unit was very clean. It had everything we needed. Just steps away from the beach. Shopping and restaurants and a grocery store are just a drive across the street. Parking is convenient, elevator and carts to take your items up to your condo. I would recommend.

It is just a couple minutes from the door of the condo to get to the beach and/or swimming pool. The condo is clean and decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable but we would suggest bringing your own pillows as those provided are really flat. The shower heads could be replaced soon as one of them beats you without any control of changing it. All of the appliances work well and seem new. The condo is decorated very tastefully and had plenty of space for us.

Enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for our stuff. Overlooked one of the man made ponds, but could see the beach/ocean in the distance. The shower head in the 2nd bathroom was clogged with calcium deposits. Great restaurants near by. The elevator we used developed an issue near the end of our stay. The parking level button quit working, so we would have someone take the stairs to the 1st floor and bring the elevator down to us. One of our party members was in a wheelchair. There was at least one other elevator in our building, but we did not go looking for it. The shower head was the biggest inconvenience, but we all had fun, felt safe, and clean, and we enjoyed the pool and beach.

We had an amazing time. The condo is right on the beach and we loved the place. Great food all over the island. Coffee and shops right across the street! Great view and warm pool this place is a must see. Pictures don’t do this beautiful place justice!

Wonderful, clean condo. Everything was just as described and all looks new. Comfortable beds and furniture throughout. Perfect for our family of 5. View is beautiful and so close to the beach. Very quiet area except the beach was much more crowded than expected. We rented bikes for the week and had a great time riding on the beach and everywhere around Palometto Dunes. We had a light out in the shower when we arrived and texted and it was fixed next morning. Excellent service. There is a large fountain right outside of the balcony. It is very beautiful but unfortunately you cannot hear the ocean waves over the fountain. I was able to get up early and sit out and hear the waves before the fountain turned on at 8. So if you love to sit out and hear the ocean, you may consider a different unit. Other suggestions would be add another hair dryer. One for each bathroom would have been nice. Also, change the light bulbs to newer clear LED. Not many lights in this condo and they are all warm white and pretty dim. Only lights in bedrooms are lamps.

I’ve stayed at Villamare for the last four years. Unit 1204, our first time in this unit, was by far the best in terms of location on the property. The pond, pool, and beach views are inviting. The exterior hallway is quiet and private. The furniture was comfortable and clean. I loved there wasn’t any carpet.
