This charming Palmetto Dunes home offers expansive golf course views and features multiple living spaces to host large groups with ease.
On the main level, the living room offers comfortable seating around the flatscreen TV and fireplace, as well as direct views of and access to the private pool and deck. An open floor plan allows an easy flow to the kitchen, which is fully stocked and has plenty of counterspace to make cooking meals easy. The sun-filled dining area has seating for six, and there are an additional three seats at the kitchen bar.
Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 can be found on this main level, all with great separation between them for added privacy. Bedroom 1 features a king-sized bed that can easily be converted to two twin-sized beds upon request, and bedroom 2 features two twin-sized beds that can be converted to a king-sized bed upon request. These bedrooms offer direct access to the pool and deck through the sliding doors. Bedroom 3 features a king-sized bed along with a flatscreen TV. All bedrooms have their own private bathroom as well as walk-in closets!
On the second level, find an additional great room that features a second living room, kitchen, and dining area—making this home perfect for large groups or families! The living room offers an amazing golf and lagoon view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make cooking up here just as easy, and there is seating for six at the dining table as well as additional bar seats.
Take a few steps out to access bedrooms 4 and 5. These rooms feature king-sized beds that can easily be converted to two twin-sized beds upon request. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms.
Outside, the pool deck will be your favorite place to spend your days! Let rest and relaxation find you as you unwind in the large private pool. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as multiple pool loungers, or you can jump right in to cool off. Up a few steps to the viewing deck, this deck will provide you with an absolutely stunning view of the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Golf Course and lagoons. There is a full bathroom to make your time out here easy, and a full game room downstairs in the garage for even more fun. The beach is only a short walk down the street if you ever want to leave!

Additional fees apply for last minute requests prior to arrival or after arriving at the property. The Town of Hilton Head Island's 2026 Beach Renourishment Project began on August 6, 2025 at Fish Haul Beach, located off Mitchelville Road on the Island's north end. This vital initiative, part of the Town's long-term beach management program, is undertaken every 8 to 10 years and aims to preserve, protect, and restore Hilton Head's valuable shoreline.
The 2026 renourishment will mirror past efforts (1990, 1997, 2006, 2016) and involves placing approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach-compatible sand across 46,500 feet of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline. Sand will be dredged from offshore shoals and pumped through extensive pipeline systems onto designated beach areas, then shaped by heavy machinery to meet specific design standards.
The $47.5 million project is divided into three phases, with work expected to last until May 2026:

During the renourishment, about 1,000-foot beach segments will be temporarily closed, with beachgoers directed around active work zones via ramps and signage. Construction is expected to proceed 24/7, moving at a pace of 200-300 feet per day, with minor disruptions lasting just a few days for any specific beachfront property
The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:
The project includes safeguards for endangered species. Activities are monitored by consultants to protect sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Per U.S. Army Corps and USFWS permit conditions, dog activity is restricted in a small area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek Beach Park. All other beaches remain under normal seasonal pet access rules.

There are ensuites in every bedroom and 4 out of 5 bedrooms have king beds, so it is great for extended families or multiple couples. The views of the golf course are fantastic and it is a really short walk to the beach access. The 2 kitchens are also a bonus if you want to cook different meals. We stayed at this beautiful home with a group of 3 families (6 adults and 7 kiddos) and had an incredible time! The home is perfect for multiple families with the separate living areas and the fact that each bedroom has it's own spacious full bathroom. The heated pool, convenient quick walk to the beach, and the endless places to bike meant we were never without something fun and active to do. The amenities of Palmetto Dune including pickle ball, Alexander's and slushes at the General Store were an added plus! Two families of 6 with kids ranging from 14 years old to 23 years old stayed in this sprawling home. We usually stay in Shipyard but decided to try Palmetto Dunes. Loved it. This house is laid out so well that everyone can easily have their own space but can still be together. The house overlooks the golf course which makes it easy to ride bikes on the golf cart path after hours. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away. The swimming pool is huge. We had a fabulous week. The layout of the house is a little unique. We had three families staying in the house and we really appreciated the two kitchens with their extra space. We had 3 families coming together with children in their 20" and 30's. We called the first floor the senior floor and upstairs the juniors floor. Each group had their own kitchen, living space and even had our own half bath. The kitchens were very well stocked which is always a pleasant surprise. The pool and pool are was amazing. The elevated deck over looking the golf course was a big hit for the golfers in the group. The beach was a 5 minute walk to a beautiful not to over crowded beach. A fantastic beach front bar, Coco's, was just a 100 yd walk down the sand. We also really enjoyed access to the garage where we could leave all our beach gear. A lot of our stays you don't have that access. We have stayed in Palmetto Dunes every time but once because the locations and golf courses are great. Thanks for a fantastic stay.Posted: 6/21/2021

Plenty of space and the pool was perfect for family gatherings. Beach was extremely accessible and empty. Golfers enjoy chipping in the evening and while the rest could watch from many vantage points on the property. The thing we were most impressed with was the completeness of the kitchens. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had to come back and stay here again, this time I brought the whole fam. This rental covers all the bases. Location- it’s a 90 second walk to the beach, location- it’s right on the 12th hole RTJ course, and yes multiple people played it every night after the last group played through, plus we were entertained watching the golfers during the day. Location- right on the lagoon, beautiful view and for fishing and kayaking. Location- a few minute walk across the golf course to coco’s on the beach for excellent rum drinks and ambiance. The pool has an outside bathroom in the laundry room, so very convent. The decors awesome Italian. The pool is huge compared to all the rest of the palmetto dunes homes. The only negative was it was green when we arrived and took 8 calls and 5 days to get it corrected. That aside I give this place top shelf designation. Hope to be back in septemberPosted: 7/15/2020

What a wonderful home. Took our son/fiancé, daughter and her clan of 6 and had room and privacy for more! Beautiful location on RTJ #12 with kayak launch and the beach was a 2 minute walk. Very quiet, clean and private! Management was very responsive with requests. The only recommendation is to beef up the 3rd floor air conditioning. During late afternoons it was warm.Posted: 7/7/2020
