1866 Beachside Tennis Villa

We stayed at the property while playing at the state tennis championships. One of the tennis venues is right across the street. The first floor location offers easy access to the pool, as well as the beach. The decks offered a comfortable seating area to view the beautiful South Carolina sunsets. The property was also close to the Salty Dog and their tee shirt company. When we play at the states again next year, and if they are in Hilton Head, we will definitely see if this unit is available.

Thank you for the wonderful review Steven! We’re so glad the property was a great fit for your tennis championship getaway and that you enjoyed the convenient location, easy beach and pool access, and beautiful sunset views from the decks. We would love to welcome you back to Hilton Head for next year’s championships!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been staying here for years and have always loved it. I do feel the cleanliness has slipped. Objects remain broken and deep cleaning hasn't been done in years. Although weekly rentals would make that hard, I understand that. Still a prime viewing location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The property management was very organized and quick to respond. The location was amazing because we were so close to the beach and the pool. The beach was just a couple minutes walk from the villa and was great for walks where we spotted a lot of dolphins and wildlife. Great views from the bedroom windows and on the back porch. The villa itself was very clean and very comfortable to stay in. We rented bikes and had a blast biking to Harbour Town and around the area. We did a lot of cooking and were impressed on the stocked kitchen. We've tried many different airbnbs/hotels on HHI for annual trips and this was our favorite location to stay in. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return to this villa in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying in this condo so much for a girls weekend getaway. The access to the beach was amazing and the view was beautiful. We had plenty of room in the condo for 4 but even 6 guests would have been just as comfortable. The condo was well maintained. The kitchen could use a few storage containers and guests should note to bring basic condiments like salt and pepper but other than that, it was perfect. We enjoyed our $150 beach gear credit and were impressed with the quality of the rental gear. The location is an easy walk to the Salty Dog Cafe... we loved everything about this place and even all agreed that it's perfect for a family of up to 6. We would love to go back and make this trip an annual tradition!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay! The property managment company was helpful anytime we called, especially when we were concerned about the weather as we were there during a Tropical Storm. The proximity to the beach, pool and Salty Dog is amazing. We loved hanging out on the deck and cant beat the views. Some areas (bathtub/shower) could use some TLC. We would for sure stay here again. Plenty of room for our famiy of 5.

We had a great week in Hilton Head and loves staying in South Beach. This condo was the best one that we’ve had yet! The view overlooking the pool and the ocean is spectacular. Plenty of room for our four adults and two children very cozy… See you next year. Thank you.

Great property with an excellent location.

Patrick S. - Posted: 4/21/2022

Location Location Location! Two bedroom was perfect size and location near beach allowed for many walks and bikes on beach. Enjoyed dolphins and deer alike. 5 minute walk to Salty Dog was also convenient. Property is a little dated, but would return in a minute. Some nice changes might include: microwaveable dishes, additional hairdryer (only 1 for 2 baths), larger main room TV. Totally enjoyed our stay.
