Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

This spectacular villa has been renovated with new flooring, painting, and furniture. Walking into the villa welcomes you to an open-concept living area featuring high ceilings and large windows that bathe the space in natural light. The living room is elegantly furnished, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated ambiance. Adjacent to the living area is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, complete with modern appliances, granite countertops, and ample cabinet space. The dining table seats 4, and there are 2 bar stools.

The first bedroom is a retreat in itself, offering a spacious layout with a king-sized bed. It is located on the first floor. Also located on the first floor is a bathroom with a combination tub and shower. The other two bedrooms are located upstairs. The primary bedroom features fairway views with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. Bedroom 3 has a twin-over-twin bunk bed with a separate queen bed. Bedroom 3 also has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Outside, the villa features a private deck with seating for 6 overlooking fairway views of the George Fazio golf course. Turnberry villas come with access to wonderful community amenities such as a salt water pool, pavilion, playground, and a short bike or Dunes Buggy ride to the 3-mile stretch of our pristine beach.

The world-famous Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort is a 2000-acre community that stretches from the 3 miles of white sandy beaches through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis and pickleball courts. There is also a convenient bikeway or walkway under William Hilton Parkway that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina and Towne Center, which feature a plethora of world-class shops and restaurants.

Exactly as Described!
We had a great stay at 233 Turnberry! The location was perfect, everything was spotless, and the property matched the description exactly. The layout was comfortable, the amenities were just as promised, and customer service was excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

233 Turnberry Villas Palmetto Dunes
The unit at 233 Turnberry Villas was immaculate upon our arrival. The management company provided us with all the details needed for us to enjoy our stay, including information about the unit and the area. They were super responsive about any questions or issues we had. We spent many hours on the back deck enjoying the birds and the golfers. We also took daily walks in the neighborhood and met so many lovely people who were owners. They, too, were great resources for the area. There were a few things that we did not realize and were a challenge. My husband has some mobility issues. I could not tell from the posted pictures that there were 5 stairs to climb from the front hall to the first floor living area. Also, the walkway from the parking space to the front door was very uneven because of tree roots. The villa was our home for 5 weeks. I would go back in a heartbeat if not for the mobility issues.

Beautiful!
A beautiful rental, the bedrooms were spacious. Everything was very clean and suited our group of adults perfectly. Loved having three bathrooms. The beach is about a 5 minute bike ride away, which was perfect. Pool across the parking lot was very handy for those that worked part of the stay, they could just pop out and take a little break. General store nearby, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. It's in a beautiful area, very scenic. Lots of extra towels and the kitchen was stocked with lots of great utensils. Would stay here again!

Best Family Vacation
This was our family’s first visit to the Atlantic Ocean and Hilton Head Island, SC and could not have had a better experience. Several friends had recommended HHI to us and it was well worth the visit. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked with kitchen essentials and beach supplies. The condo has 3 large bedrooms and 3 large baths and had plenty of room for our family of 6. The condo has wonderful air conditioning, large TV’s and ceiling fans in each of the rooms. There is a wonderful outdoor deck to enjoy the views and the weather. Palmetto Dunes was a wonderful family friendly resort and offered many amenities from exclusive beach access, wonderful white sand beaches, warm ocean water, convenient bike and kayak rentals, 3 amazing golf courses, large tennis and pickleball facilities, restaurants, cute general store, lagoons, gardens and walking and bike paths. In our humble opinion, it is the nicest resort on the island after having visited many of the others during our stay. The Turnberry Villas was a beautiful area, well taken care of and it was safe, quiet and relaxing. The location of the condo could not be better as it is located on the 8th hole of the Fazio golf course offering beautiful views and accessibility for wonderful evening walks. It is also located directly across from the private outdoor pool, patio and park area which was very convenient and fun for the kids. We rented bikes for the week and thoroughly enjoyed getting exercise riding all over the resort, island and beach. We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning for years to come. Thanks for a wonderful time and stay!

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS provided by the TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND 

Hilton Head Island's beach is crucial to both residents and the local economy. To preserve this valuable resource, the Town has planned a beach restoration project for Summer 2025, funded primarily by tourism through the local Beach Preservation Fee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
  • The 2025 beach renourishment is expected to be similar to the previous projects in 1990, 1997, 2006 and 2016.
  • The proposed project will include the placement of approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand from up to four offshore borrow areas along about 46,500 ft of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  • This project is part of the Town's ongoing beach management program, with renourishment scheduled every 8 to 10 years, depending on weather and beach conditions.
  • Pine Island in Hilton Head Plantation will be included in the 2025 restoration. 
SAND PLACEMENT

The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:

  1. South Beach / South Island - Approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sand along approximately 10,230 feet of the southern Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  2. Central Island - Approximately 700,000 cubic yards along 28,860 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  3. The Heel - Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand along 5,280 feet at the northeast point of the island at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  4. Fish Haul Creek - Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand along about 2,130 feet of Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  5. Pine Island - Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand and construction of six rock breakwaters on the Port Royal Sound shoreline of Hilton Head Plantation between Dolphin Head and Pine Island.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The nourishment sand will be excavated by hydraulic dredge from two offshore shoal features.

  • Up to 50,000 feet of pipeline will be trucked or floated to the island by way of large rafts, then moved onto the beach.
  • The pipeline will be piled in stacks along the shoreline until needed during construction.
  • During construction, many miles of pipeline will be submerged on the ocean floor between the offshore borrow sites and the beach.
  • The rest of the pipeline will be laid progressively along the newly constructed beach as the fill sand is pumped on shore.

The dredge will pump a mixture of sand and seawater through the pipeline, and will discharge it onto the beach.

  • There, it will flow parallel to the shoreline - allowing the sand to settle out and the water to return to the sea.
  • Bulldozers and other heavy construction machinery will constantly shape the sand to meet the design specifications.

Project construction is expected to last approximately six months, operating around the clock.

  • On average, the process should move along the shoreline at a rate of about 200 to 300 feet per day.
  • As the fill placement progresses, approximately 1,000 foot sections of the beach are closed temporarily to pedestrian access.
  • Several days of work activity will occur seaward of any one piece of oceanfront property in the 1,000 foot active work area along the beach.
  • Once placed and rough-graded, the new beach is immediately reopened to the public.
IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS AND VISITORS
  • Construction noise will primarily involve bulldozers shaping the sand as it is deposited.
  • Disruptions at individual properties generally last about three or four days as the renourishment operation progresses.
  • Adjacent property owners, or renters, may experience short-term minor inconveniences.
