Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

This home is spacious and relaxing 3-bedroom home in the charming, gated community of Sea Pines. Open the door to experience a serene view of a private lagoon shaded by palm trees and live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. An abundance of natural sunlight streams in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. You will know you have arrived in the serene Low Country of South Carolina!

This relaxing home has an open-concept floor plan with high ceilings throughout. The great room boasts ample seating for everyone to come together for conversation or a big game in front of the new 65-inch smart TV.

Past the breakfast counter, you'll enter a spacious, fully stocked kitchen with new GE stainless steel appliances, complete with all your cooking needs. Plenty of counter space makes this kitchen the perfect place to prepare your meals when you choose to dine in. The laundry room, which has a full-sized washer and dryer, is located just off the kitchen.

Surrounding the kitchen, you will find both a cozy breakfast nook with seating for four as well as a more formal dining table with seating for six. A sliding glass door leads to the back deck, where comfortable slingback chairs provide a great place to sip your morning coffee, read a good book, or enjoy an evening cocktail. A gas grill is available for the grill master in your group to serve up some sizzling burgers or steaks.

Past the first-floor half bath and large hall closet, you enter a luxurious master suite. A comfortable king-size bed sits in between two chairs that offer yet another option for reading that great summer novel. Completing the master suite is an armoire with TV alongside a desk, perfect for the remote worker. As you pass the walk-in closet, you enter the master en suite with separate vanities, a large soaking tub, and an oversized shower.

The two upstairs guest bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed and TV, and they share a bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Exceptional house on Hilton head
Very clean and comfortable. The view from the huge living room windows of the lagoon was awesome. Kitchen was up-to-date with everything you need to cook with barbecue grill was clean and worked perfect perfectly. Would definitely stay here again. Concierge service through island time was very helpful and friendly ready to give us ideas of anything we wanted to do.

Terrific! 10 Out Of 10
Island Time was the best property management company we have ever had in over 50 years of rentals. Their staff is what makes the real difference. They are incredibly attentive and proactive and care about making sure your stay is the best. Thank you Haleigh, Rudy, Brenda, and all the rest of the team. 35 Shell Ring was also a great rental. The layout is perfect for the two of us--with guests or a larger group easily accommodated. The home was immaculate, the kitchen was very well equipped, the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, the views of the lagoon from every 1st floor room was great. All in all this was a 10 out of 10. We booked next year before we left this year! Again, our thanks to the owners and all the Island Time staff for creating a great place to stay.

A home away from home
Carolina Place is a lovely, well-kept quiet area. The home was just as it is pictured. Very comfortable and bright! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 35 Shell Ring and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy get away from it all rental.

Absolute Gem!
This beach house is an absolute gem! It's not just a home - it's a haven for adventure and relaxation. With comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living space and a fully equipped kitchen with spacious dining area, it feels like a home away from home. Wonderful Property!
My family and I had a wonderful time on our vacation in Hilton head. We enjoyed the perks of this rental being located within the Sea Pines community. The bike trails are well-maintained and easily accessible. We ventured on our bikes all the way to the Salty Dog in South Beach as well as to Harbour Town! This property is situated with easy access in and out of Sea Pines to easily get to other parts of the island which is nice because there are so many other parts of the island to explore. The home itself was quite comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed many peaceful mornings with our coffee on the back deck looking out at the lagoon or in the rocking chairs on the front porch. The pool is only for the Carolina Place homes, so it was never crowded."

35 Shell Ring in Sea Pines
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on 35 Shell Ring. It is a beautiful house, and very comfortable. The back of the house is all windows, and it brings the outside in. Looking out the back, we could see part of the lagoon, and all the wildlife and birds. It was beautifully furnished. We had company for part of the time, and it was arranged so you can have private areas, and yet gather together in the large living room. There was room to do large puzzles, and play games, read books or just watch TV. We also had many meals in the dining room that looked to the back also. Many family hours were spent in these two rooms when rainy, or quiet times of the day. Comfortable furniture with rockers on the front and back porches. There was a handy laundry area off the side of the kitchen. Our company were good chefs, and the kitchen was equipped with everything they needed. The area of Hilton Head was perfect. The house is in one of the first subdivisions once you enter Sea Pines. It has easy access to bike trails, shopping, churches etc. It was a beautiful and quiet area to walk the neighborhood. We can’t say enough about the property. It was beautifully maintained, comfortable and quiet. Yet neighbors are friendly and we met many- especially those that had dogs. We would definitely rent this place again if we were traveling to Hilton Head in the future, and would definitely invite family. Our company said they would be delighted if we would ask them again to join them

2025 Beach Renourishment +

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS provided by the TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND 

Hilton Head Island's beach is crucial to both residents and the local economy. To preserve this valuable resource, the Town has planned a beach restoration project for Summer 2025, funded primarily by tourism through the local Beach Preservation Fee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
  • The 2025 beach renourishment is expected to be similar to the previous projects in 1990, 1997, 2006 and 2016.
  • The proposed project will include the placement of approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand from up to four offshore borrow areas along about 46,500 ft of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  • This project is part of the Town's ongoing beach management program, with renourishment scheduled every 8 to 10 years, depending on weather and beach conditions.
  • Pine Island in Hilton Head Plantation will be included in the 2025 restoration. 
SAND PLACEMENT

The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:

  1. South Beach / South Island - Approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sand along approximately 10,230 feet of the southern Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  2. Central Island - Approximately 700,000 cubic yards along 28,860 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  3. The Heel - Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand along 5,280 feet at the northeast point of the island at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  4. Fish Haul Creek - Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand along about 2,130 feet of Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  5. Pine Island - Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand and construction of six rock breakwaters on the Port Royal Sound shoreline of Hilton Head Plantation between Dolphin Head and Pine Island.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The nourishment sand will be excavated by hydraulic dredge from two offshore shoal features.

  • Up to 50,000 feet of pipeline will be trucked or floated to the island by way of large rafts, then moved onto the beach.
  • The pipeline will be piled in stacks along the shoreline until needed during construction.
  • During construction, many miles of pipeline will be submerged on the ocean floor between the offshore borrow sites and the beach.
  • The rest of the pipeline will be laid progressively along the newly constructed beach as the fill sand is pumped on shore.

The dredge will pump a mixture of sand and seawater through the pipeline, and will discharge it onto the beach.

  • There, it will flow parallel to the shoreline - allowing the sand to settle out and the water to return to the sea.
  • Bulldozers and other heavy construction machinery will constantly shape the sand to meet the design specifications.

Project construction is expected to last approximately six months, operating around the clock.

  • On average, the process should move along the shoreline at a rate of about 200 to 300 feet per day.
  • As the fill placement progresses, approximately 1,000 foot sections of the beach are closed temporarily to pedestrian access.
  • Several days of work activity will occur seaward of any one piece of oceanfront property in the 1,000 foot active work area along the beach.
  • Once placed and rough-graded, the new beach is immediately reopened to the public.
IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS AND VISITORS
  • Construction noise will primarily involve bulldozers shaping the sand as it is deposited.
  • Disruptions at individual properties generally last about three or four days as the renourishment operation progresses.
  • Adjacent property owners, or renters, may experience short-term minor inconveniences.
