Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I cannot say enough about this rental. It was our first time staying in Palmetto dunes after almost 40 years of going to shipyard. The kitchen is equipped with anything you could desire. The back deck has a gate across it so it’s perfect for sitting outside for coffee or wine with your pups. The beds are very comfortable and the decor is beautiful. The beach is a quick five minute walk down a beautiful trail and never seemed to be crowded even though we were there over July 4. It’s also a quick walk to the dunes, beach restaurant, the general store and Alexander’s. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay in Hilton Head! The property was beautiful, the amenities were excellent, and the condo was stocked with everything we could possibly need — so many thoughtful touches throughout. We did have one small issue during our stay, but the response was incredibly quick and someone came out to fix it within 24 hours. Great communication and hospitality from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our rental was perfectly situated, close to all the amenities of Palmetto dunes, the beach, an exceptional dining. When we had a hard time with some bees on our patio one call and the problem was solved. Just can’t say enough good things.

Ideal location - loved the short walk to the beach, restaurants, general store and club houses. Also loved the Dunes House live music - very relaxing! We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered at the villa as well. The appliances were state of the art and it was nice to have so many pots and pans plus an air fryer. #40 is tastefully decorated including original art work which we have not encountered in any other rentals. Linens etc. were top notch too. Can't say enough about 40 Hickory Cove. We're already booking this unit for next year!

We loved the location of the condo. We love the area and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Condo was roomy. Master bed is extremely hard that would be our only discomfort with the stay. Otherwise, our family of four loved it!

Condo was very nice, up to date and had everything we needed. Very easy 5-6 minute walk to the beach and a nice community pool. The Dunes restaurant on the beach was very good for lunch and dinner. Palmetto Dunes is a wonderful area to stay with lots of things to do.

We loved our stay in this Palmetto Dunes condo, which is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The development is very pretty and was quiet during Christmas week. The condo has bright and cheerful decor with plenty of natural light. The bedrooms are spacious and there is an extra bed in the hallway upstairs. Both the master bed and living room couch are extra firm but comfortable enough. The property mgmt is very attentive and responsive to concerns. We will look forward to staying here again.

This condo was so comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed coffee on the front private porch and happy hour on the airy back deck. Everything inside was beautiful and comfy. It’s really an enjoyable unit. Biking or walking anywhere in Palmetto Dunes was easy and close. Thanks for a wonderful HHI get away.

We highly recommend … a short walk to the beach, and of course golf, tennis, pickleball and restaurants abound!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

We’re finishing up a stay at 40 Hickory Cove in Palmetto Dunes. What a great place! The unit is sunny, bright and well appointed. The location is fantastic!! It’s a short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the pickleball courts. We don’t want to leave and we’ll definitely come back. What a find!
