435 Captain's Walk overlooks the pool out to the ocean! Lots of recent updates!
435 Captain's Walk is a second-floor, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom end unit that overlooks the pool and out to the ocean. A beautiful, updated villa with great views—you couldn't ask for more. The new owners have added great touches and updates to make this the perfect oceanfront experience for you.
The kitchen is located just off the foyer, is fully equipped, has plenty of storage, and an open counter to the dining and living area. The breakfast bar has two stools. All overlooking the open-concept living and dining room and out to the ocean. Views of the ocean from any of the kitchen, living room, or dining room
The dining area has a table for six and adjoins the living area, which features an all-new and comfortable sofa, an overstuffed chair, and lounge chairs, an entertainment center with a large flat panel TV and DVD, and a full wall and a half of windows with a slider door to the deck. The front view from the living room and deck is of the ocean and pool area.
The bright master bedroom with its beautiful hardwood flooring features (a king-size bed), a flat panel TV/VCR, windows looking out to the ocean view, and a private bath with a large, tiled shower. There is two additional bedrooms, one with another king bed and the third bedroom features 2 twin over full bunk beds.
The middle bedroom has two full-size beds and access to a full bathroom in the hall with a vanity and shower/tub combo. At the front of the property is another king suite with a private bathroom that includes a walk-in shower.

The Town of Hilton Head Island's 2026 Beach Renourishment Project began on August 6, 2025 at Fish Haul Beach, located off Mitchelville Road on the Island's north end. This vital initiative, part of the Town's long-term beach management program, is undertaken every 8 to 10 years and aims to preserve, protect, and restore Hilton Head's valuable shoreline.
The 2026 renourishment will mirror past efforts (1990, 1997, 2006, 2016) and involves placing approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach-compatible sand across 46,500 feet of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline. Sand will be dredged from offshore shoals and pumped through extensive pipeline systems onto designated beach areas, then shaped by heavy machinery to meet specific design standards.
The $47.5 million project is divided into three phases, with work expected to last until May 2026:

During the renourishment, about 1,000-foot beach segments will be temporarily closed, with beachgoers directed around active work zones via ramps and signage. Construction is expected to proceed 24/7, moving at a pace of 200-300 feet per day, with minor disruptions lasting just a few days for any specific beachfront property
The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:
The project includes safeguards for endangered species. Activities are monitored by consultants to protect sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Per U.S. Army Corps and USFWS permit conditions, dog activity is restricted in a small area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek Beach Park. All other beaches remain under normal seasonal pet access rules.

We had an amazing stay at this condo! It had the perfect amount of space for my sisters and mom. The rooms were spacious and everyone had their own bathroom. There was a great view from the balcony of the pool and beach and it was a much shorter walk to the beach than we thought! The condo had everything we needed and was close to restaurants and shops! As indicated in the star ratings, we had a wonderful week in this condo. There was plenty of room, updated furnishings, and it was clean. The grounds of Palmetto Dunes are gorgeous, and we enjoyed biking with our complimentary bikes. My only complaint was the entry to our condo without our permission to check out a suspected water leak. When we returned, a big hold had been cut into a bedroom wall. Needless to say, we were surprised. Island Time Realty were very responsive on this issue.Posted: 6/6/2023

There were a few minor issues like the ice maker in the freezer would continually freeze solid, but nothing that significantly impacted our experience in a negative way. The condo was in good shape and clean upon arrival. It was very spacious, and the 3 bedrooms were laid out nicely to allow flexible options for all guests to sleep comfortably. The balcony view was great, and the property overall was also very nice. The pool was very nice and beach access was very close and convenient. This condo was perfect for out family (4 adults and 2 kids) getaway to Hilton Head for Thanksgiving. We loved the location on the second floor with beach views. Our kids really enjoyed the heated pool in late Novemeber! The 3 bedrooms were all spacious with ample closet space and their own bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and dining in. Everything was in working order. We appreciated that there were plenty of towels and luggage racks for every guest. We stayed here with our large family, and the house was perfect. The end unit was nice because no one was walking by our door. We could leave our chairs outside the door with plenty of room. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
