We drank our coffee on the balcony every morning and watched the birds fly by at eye level and dolphin wsiming in the waves on the beach. My only complaint is the coffee cups could be replaced for larger mugs or bring your own. If your looking for a comfortable property that allows you to interact with the activities of the ocean, this one is perfect.

Great location and view of the ocean

This condo was beautiful! I was little hesitant about it because my original pick was not available later due to replacements of windows and doors. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the walk in shower was wonderful! We had a great view from our balcony overlooking the water. The kitchen was very well stocked with the needed pans and utensils. We could see ships on the horizon coming into the Savannah river that you couldn’t see down below. The only issue I had was the pool was closed and the noise and dust from the tearing up of the concrete to repair the problem was annoying. I would definitely stay in this condo again. The staff were very thoughtful and pleasant!

This unit was was fabulous. When we arrived the unit was spotless. The view of the ocean cannot be beat. The kids loved the pool and how a majority of the pool is about 3 ft deep so they could touch easily. The hit tub said it was down for maintenance but was working during our stay. The walk to the beach is short, however, there are multiple steps and a large sand dune that needs crossed making very difficult to pull a beach wagon. We just improvised and carried our chairs but with smaller children it may be difficult. The beach was also not as crowded as other beaches and had multiple large tide pools which led to hours of enjoyment for the kids. The unit itself is well stocked with cookware that would be needed and had a well working washer, dryer and dishwasher. The only obstacle we encountered was on Friday the building fire alarm went off and we needed to evacuate but it was about 10am so not an issue. However, after the fire alarm the elevator stopped working and going up and down 5 flights of stairs was difficult, especially when trying to take all of our luggage down at the end of our stay. Everyone in our party was capable of using stairs so for us this was just a minor inconvenience but if your party has someone who is handicapped or unable to go up stairs that could make it difficult. Island time was very responsive and transparent with us about the elevator issues.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It is a perfect location with wonderful amenities. Very clean and spacious with an amazing view. The beds were very comfortable and the master shower was great. Island Time is also the best to book through, we had an issue with our property we had actually booked and got upgraded to this location. What I would normally find very stressful was made easy with Brenda’s assistance and we can’t wait to book this location again.

The condo was beautiful, well furnished and very comfortable! The starter package was a very nice touch and we liked the quality of the towels. The pool was heated, that was a plus and our weather couldn’t have been more perfect! We love biking around the island, so many great restaurants, relaxing with our feet in the sand and ocean and sitting on our balcony at night listening to the waves!

We really enjoyed our stay at palmetto dunes. The community was beautiful and the beach access was top notch. Very private and quiet in comparison to the rest of the island

Property setup was excellent! Ocean view from the room, 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, nicely equipped kitchen area, large dining table. Room with balcony overlooking the pool area, nicely maintained pool. Short walk to the beach. Rented beach gear, bikes, worth it. Everything, stores, restaurants are a short drive away. Overall very happy with the experience!
