With easy access to both the dining room and the outdoor deck, this space is ideal for hosting gatherings. Nearby, the laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer for added convenience.
The first-floor primary suite offers a king-sized bed, smart TV, and a private patio with beautiful golf course views. The ensuite bathroom includes a soaking tub and walk-in shower, creating a luxurious retreat. Across the hall, a second bedroom features a king-sized bed, smart TV, and easy access to a hallway bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower.
Upstairs, the hallway overlooks the main living area and connects two additional bedrooms. Bedroom three includes two twin-sized beds, a bean bag, a smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower/tub combo. Bedroom four, located across across the hallway, features a queen-sized bed with golf course views, a smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Outside, the backyard is an entertainer's dream. Enjoy the private pool and spa, or relax on the wraparound deck, which includes a propane grill, a dining table, and partial shade for comfort. Take in spectacular views of the pool, the lagoon, and the 2nd hole of the Robert Trent Jones golf course.

The Town of Hilton Head Island's 2026 Beach Renourishment Project began on August 6, 2025 at Fish Haul Beach, located off Mitchelville Road on the Island's north end. This vital initiative, part of the Town's long-term beach management program, is undertaken every 8 to 10 years and aims to preserve, protect, and restore Hilton Head's valuable shoreline.
The 2026 renourishment will mirror past efforts (1990, 1997, 2006, 2016) and involves placing approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach-compatible sand across 46,500 feet of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline. Sand will be dredged from offshore shoals and pumped through extensive pipeline systems onto designated beach areas, then shaped by heavy machinery to meet specific design standards.
The $47.5 million project is divided into three phases, with work expected to last until May 2026:

During the renourishment, about 1,000-foot beach segments will be temporarily closed, with beachgoers directed around active work zones via ramps and signage. Construction is expected to proceed 24/7, moving at a pace of 200-300 feet per day, with minor disruptions lasting just a few days for any specific beachfront property

The project includes safeguards for endangered species. Activities are monitored by consultants to protect sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Per U.S. Army Corps and USFWS permit conditions, dog activity is restricted in a small area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek Beach Park. All other beaches remain under normal seasonal pet access rules.

This house was beautifully decorated with beach furnishings. The pool was so much fun for not only the kids, but the adults too! We had the very best time at this house. Beds were so comfy and the house was clean upon arrival. The kitchen is stocked with cups, plates, silverware and pots/pans. The pool is perfect for everyone including small children. The house does border a hole on the golf course so being aware while we were out in the yard and pool that a ball could come our way was something we needed to be but overall no complaints!Posted: 6/28/2025

The staff was great. Process was easy. Brenda and Sharon answered all questions and got us the extra car pass last minute. House was super well stocked. Labels for cabinets were very helpful. Cant say anything bad about the place. Great location as we played golf everyday, went to the Hilton Head diner almost every morning, and had our favorite restaurants (Ruan Thai, Smokehouse, San Miguel, Hudson's) all close by as the house was in the middle of them all inside Palmetto Dunes. I am getting better at streaming tv and their written instructions in every room definitely helped. Would, without question, reserve this house again. Great value. It was a little early in the season for us to enjoy the pool and the hot tub was not turned on yet which may have been fun but we were going strong all day on the golf course and dinner locations so we had very little time for it. Note: the chairs in the living room picture recline. We didn't figure that out until the third day, BONUS. Thank you Island Time HHI for a great stay. We have a family group that plans annually to meet up somewhere. This year was Hilton Head. This was our best vacation together ever. The house was perfect with all the things you would need for fun at the beach, at the pool and just having fun together! The area was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful golf courses and a neighborhood that lent itself to walking, riding bikes or just sitting and enjoying the scenery. The property is very nice, was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Pool and hot tub are game changers for relaxing. Location was beautiful, a little far from the beach but we knew that when we selected it. Coastal is a breeze to deal with on the prebooking. A few things to mention: There is a really loud "dumping" of water that occurs regularly underneath the house. May be a sump pump or similar, but would be good to warn renters. Also, a large black wasp's nest is at the back glass sliding door from the breakfast area. Instructions on the hot tub would be helpful. With 7 women, we ran out of toilet paper very quickly, would have been good to have more. Also, a list of what renters may want to bring - paper towels, liquid hand soap, etc. would be helpful. Coastal is an excellent company to deal with and it was clear they tried to go the extra mile. Earlier check in and later check out (even if just an hour on each end) would be a HUGE plus! House was exactly as described online and located in a great community with plenty of activities to do such as tennis, pickle ball, water activities. We enjoyed our stay in Palmetto Dunes. The home was spacious with plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The pool and hot tub were used at the end of each day and made for a perfect ending of the day. Loved the proximity to the beach which was an easy bike ride away. My only suggestion is for house cleaning to run the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom once in a while in order to clean the jets out. Beautiful location and beautiful house. Awesome salt water pool and hot tub. Kids had a blast! Very quiet neighborhood and relaxing get away. Property was slightly dirty. With two kids under two and kids constantly being on the floor, I would say the cleaning could have been better. Copwebs and hair build up all over the house. Our experience at 6 High Water was excellent. The property is tastefully appointed with plenty of space for our group of 8. We were in Hilton Head for a conference at the Omni Hotel, and our property at Palmetto Dunes was in close proximity to the resort. We were also staying adjacent to multiple golf courses, which was very convenient. The people with the property management company were awesome, helping us get the hot tub heated, as well as arranging the cleaning schedule so that we could arrive a few hours early. Bicycles were also provided, which we rode around the neighborhood on a lazy afternoon. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone willing to stay slightly away from beachfront (with access a few minutes away) in order to get comfortable accommodations at a very reasonable pricePosted: 5/13/2018
This was a beautiful home well furnished. We had 7 of us from our high school class, and three were couples. With four bedrooms and four baths, everyone had their own space for sleep and personal purposes. The rest of the home was beautiful furnished. Having a pool and hot tub, view of a golf green and lagoon, canoe, etc. made it perfect. We were so surprised to see 7 bicycles in the garage. We didn't have to rent bikes, and I was able to try out biking again for the first time in years! We are so happy we found this rental and would love to return one day!Posted: 5/7/2018
This is our sixth visit to HHI and our sixth location that we've stayed in. This house was beautiful and excellent for our family. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We found it very relaxing to cook in the kitchen (filled with ample kitchen supplies), and plenty of space to eat both inside and outside. We could all spread out and read or relax and also spent several nights playing board games after the sun went down. Our favorite activity was the pool and hot tub as our entire family of five spent hours laughing and playing together which is rare with how busy our family is during our normal day to day life. The house is tucked away in a neighborhood and felt very safe and very quite. We loved watching the boaters and kayakers float by during the day and enjoyed watching the golfers as well. We did have one ball hit the table on the deck while we were outside, which scared us a bit, but it was the only time it happened and we think was a rare occurrence and a terrible shot on the golfers part. I would highly recommend this home - excellent attention to detail and extremely friendly rental company as well. My family and I LOVE Hilton Head Island and our favorite place to stay is Palmetto Dunes. We have always rented condos on the beach but decided this time we were going to rent a home. I spent weeks doing a lot of research to get the right home for us. I picked an absolute gem if I may say so myself! This home was exactly as described but BETTER. All of the rooms were very spacious, even down to the outdoor space. I know this might just be me but I even loved the spaciousness of the laundry room. When you have a lot of people who generate a lot of laundry it is nice not have to be in a coffin sized room while you are doing it. The location is quiet, relaxing and peaceful yet close to everything - shops, restaurants, bars, beach etc... We were a quick bike ride to Shelter Cove and that was a favorite activity. The decor inside (and outside on the deck) seemed to be brand new yet we felt right at home. After swimming in the pool and lounging in the hot tub, we loved to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the water. The view in the back is gorgeous. It is also a great place for coffee in the morning, lunch in the afternoon...well, you get the idea! We did pay the extra charge to heat the pool and hot tub and it was totally worth it. This home exceeded our expectations and will be where we rent from now on.Posted: 1/2/2018
We booked "High Water Heaven" via this site, and took a bit of a risk as it did not yet have any customer reviews. We passed this off as the pictures looked great, and it was advertised as "new to the market". Well, it certainly was as advertised...I think we may have been one of the first people to rent this newly renovated property! First, the location: It is on a quiet cul-de-sac, and sits right next to the 2nd hole of the golf course, with the lagoon right behind it. We spent every morning perched on the back deck with our coffee, watching birds, kayakers and golfers, and found ourselves right back in the same spot in the evening with a glass of wine. It was so relaxing, and the views are AMAZING! The beach was less than a 10 minute bike ride from the house (four bikes provided with the house) , and there is a cut through out the back of PD to Shelter Cove which brought us to all of the shops and restaurants without having to get in the car. As for the home itself, everything in the house appears to be new, from the furniture, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the all the equipment. The house is fully stocked with all new items (TVs, dishes and glasses, cooking utensils etc.) and is decorated very tastefully, in what I would call a "beach chic" theme. Very well done! The four bedrooms were spacious, and as two families travelling together, the adults were able to each have their own first floor master bedroom, and the kids had the run of the two bedrooms upstairs, with four baths so nobody had to wait for showers. The kids loved the amazing pool and the spent many hours out there...it was hard to get them out to go to the beach! We have been to HHI many times before, and we are so happy that we tried something different with this property. Highly recommended !Posted: 4/14/2017
