Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was wonderful and well maintained. We had some issues with the washer,dishwasher and ice maker and the property manager came out within an hour. He had to have maintenance come out and they fixed everything in another hour. Fantastic. Also the kitchen was well equipped. Best we’ve ever had. Pool maintained the heat even when it got in the 40s at night.

The pool and patio were perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The bedrooms were perfect for 10 people and the kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was beautiful and perfect for biking. The walk to the beach was as stated, 10 minutes.

The house was amazing it had everything. Lots of bikes, pool toys, beach items. The kitchen was really big with anything you might need for cooking. There were 9 of us and we never felt cramped. It is a quick walk or bike ride to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house very much! We were in the beautiful pool everyday. The restaurants we went to were awesome. We walked to the beach one day. Our second summer stay in this house! Had a great time, swimming in the pool, biking to the beach, fishing in the lake.. Although, the fish seemed a bit scarce this year.We all still had a ball! Full and well equipped open kitchen and extra garage frig for beverages! Pool, deck and patio are great for gathering.Owner who is very prompt to answer if you have a question or concern.Great home! As previous reviews have stated, Wade’s place is extremely spacious, comfortable & very well equipped. Our family of 8 had a great holiday & really appreciated all the extras, such as use of the bikes, pool toys & beach gear. The location is great & very quiet, & only a short cycle ride from Kroger’s supermarket, shops & also the beach. We would definitely stay again.

First time staying at this property and it was excellent. The owner was terrific to work with and made sure our stay was perfect. It is a beautiful home and provided us with plenty of space to where all of us (5 adults) had our own private area while still enjoying time together. The entire home was well stocked with plenty of extras. We spent countless hours in the pool which was a perfect size and heated to our preference by the owner. The location was great in that it is centrally located on the island. Perfect place to stay on vacation! Much appreciation to the owner for an excellent stay!

My husband conquered cancer but has serious health issues We wanted a great house for a great gathering of the whole family. All expectations were generously met. Great spaces for the whole family to socialize . The pool was wonderful and made the whole week so fun. Loads of extras from so many bikes to beach equipment to a kitchen stocked with loads of equipment dishes and silverware. The 4 year old declared we were rich! The free shuttle came with an easy phone call to our door. Beaches were wonderful!. It is a lovely family neighborhood with lots of people walking dogs and biking in a gorgeous tree lined setting. It was a wonderful week that was a blessing to our family.

Have been coming to Hilton Head Island for 35 years and this was our first time on Palmetto Dunes. Absolutely beautiful! The house was perfect for our family of 9 and we loved the beautiful backyard and pool. Hauling the beach stuff was a bit of a struggle but we figured it out. The weather was the most perfect for June ever! Thanks for the multiple bikes! We all enjoyed the bike paths to doughnuts and mini golf.

This was our family’s third time staying at this lovely vacation home. There is room for each family to have their own “quarters”, a fully equipped kitchen including crockpots & an air fryer, bikes for all ages, & an awesome heated pool. What a great house to share with family! And, owner Wade Anderson could not have been more accommodating. He got back to us quickly when we had any question, and he even left the pool heated for our stay. What a terrific thing for him to do, as the kids loved their pool time. The setting is so lovely. We absolutely loved everything about this house. The floor plan was perfect for our family of 12. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need & we enjoyed the bikes & beach toys in the garage. When we weren’t at the beach, we were swimming in the beautiful pool or hunting for gators, turtles & frogs in the pond (don’t feed the gators) 😳 It was also relaxing sitting in the living room each morning & watching the deer in the front yard. I think we saw them every morning. 😍 We will DEFINITELY return to this incredibly beach house.

What a beautiful house and property to vacation at! Wade, the host was very accommodating to the requests that we had. All pictures and descriptions of amenities were exactly as described on the website. Our grandchildren enjoyed the heated pool from sunrise to sunset! A short walk to the beach was also very nice. This home was by far the best home we have rented in our 20+ years coming to HHI! The home's layout afforded all 12 of us the ability of space, comfort, and yet connectedness as a family. What a wonderful place to stay!!! Our family of five stayed here with my sister’s family of five and it was perfect! Plenty of room, so clean and perfect location. We grew up going to shipyard, which was always great, but we never had our own pool. That was such a win for us especially since my kids don’t love the beach everyday. Plenty of kitchen amenities and all of the bedrooms were more than big enough. I would come back here every year if I could!

This home and location was perfect for our family of ten. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and beautiful backyard and pool. I was a little worried about the pond in the back but the landscaping is a good detterent for little kids. Easy walk or drive to the two closest beaches and enjoyed the short drive to the general store for an early morning coffee. Wade was easy to work with and readily available if needed. We had a wonderful stay at this property. Wade was great to work with. We had an air-conditioning issue mid week. We reached out to Wade, and the HVAC company arrived within an hour and resolved the problem. The house was beautiful, and the pool area was exceptional. We enjoyed a week in Hilton Head Island, staying at this beautiful home! There were 12 of us, 2 children (age 3 and 6) and 10 adults, and there was plenty of room and space for all. This was the perfect vacation home for three families with kids ranging in age from 1-14 years. The home is laid out so that each family essentially had their own roomy suite for sleeping. The other areas of the home were spacious & comfortable as well. The kitchen was fully stocked & well organized for large family meal prep. There were more bikes than we could even use, and also a beach wagon, beach chairs, & beach toys. This wonderful home is in a lovely neighborhood. Beach access is a pleasant & easy walk away. The large pool was heated and is surrounded by several lounge chairs in a beautiful yard with a great deck area. This was our first “generational” vacation & it turned out great. We are so glad we chose this property and we plan to return. Wade, the property owner was great to work with.

We've been staying on HHI for spring break for the last 8 years and this has been our favorite VRBO property. The house is exactly as pictured. The backyard is AMAZING! The pool overlooking the lake is perfection. Plenty of sun for the pool but also some shade. It was in the mid 70s all week and we were all comfortable swimming in the heated pool. The house is huge. We had more than enough room for 4 adults, 2 teens, 1 child and a toddler. We used the bikes provided every day. We love Palmetto Dunes and especially this house! Owner communication was great as well!

We loved our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. This place had a full kitchen of pots, plates, etc. for us to prepare all our meals. We booked this trip to celebrate our 17th anniversary. We decided to bring our kids and my parents with us to have some quality family time. We arrived to Palmetto Dunes and were blown away by how beautiful the community was. The house was gorgeous and clean (and my husband is OCD, which is saying a lot 🤣). There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was fully stocked. The pool was warm for the kids to swim. There was even detergent so we could keep our towels and washcloths clean. And having bikes there to ride was so convenient. We saw many deer, cranes and even an alligator during our stay. We were completely spoiled by this home and will be booking another stay there, hopefully for our next anniversary. Thank you to Mr. Anderson for allowing us to experience his wonderful home.

We loved staying at this home during our stay in Hilton Head. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and perfect for bike rides to the beach. The home is clean, spacious, and the private pool really sealed the deal for us. The owner was incredibly kind and thoughtful leading up to and during our stay. Great property that we will definitely look to rent again when in HH. The heated saltwater pool really makes the place amazing, especially with kids who can't handle all day on a sunny beach. The space and layout is great - lots of rooms for everyone to have their own area. And it's way better stocked in terms of kitchenware, etc than most rental properties, which is a huge plus! Walk to the beach is easy, especially with the property having a beach cart available. We were there with 2 couples and 3 kids, and could easily have fit more.

This beautifully maintained house is spacious and bright with room for extended families. Our group of 8 had plenty of area for cooking, dining, lounging, puzzling, napping, reading, and swimming. The pool is gorgeous and was the highlight of our trip as well as the plentiful bikes. The bedrooms and ample bathrooms gave everyone their own space and privacy. The large windows looking over the lagoon made both the indoors and outdoors a peaceful oasis. The wildlife was really enjoyable to watch. Such a short bike to the beach, which is pristine and uncrowded, with gentle waves, - perfect for kids! The kitchen is well-stocked, the house very clean, the essential AC worked well, and there were even lots of games. Pool and beach items were an added bonus to have available. There is plenty to do if you want: restaurants, sailing, mini-golf, shopping, etc. We had an amazing and memorable family vacation. Thank you!

Wonderful property perfectly set up for multiple families. The bedrooms are separated from each other, with their own bathrooms. We loved the pool and spent most of our time out there. We had a 1 year old in our group and appreciated that the house is equipped with a high chair and a portable crib, along with a beach wagon and pool toys and more bikes than our group of ten could even use! The owners have really thought of everything here…would highly recommend!

Our trip was wonderful. We loved Hilton Head and Wades beautiful home. The grandchildren had a blast in the salt water pool. My son-in-law, grandkids and husband had fun fishing in the lake behind the home. We biked to the beach and also for an evening ride for enjoyment. Something I hadn’t done since I was a kid. We cooked half of the time in Wade’s well stocked kitchen and the rest of the time we enjoyed some wonderful dinners going out. Wade’s home was perfect for 3 separate families giving each of us our own space. My suggestion to families with very little ones is if you need a cart to attach in the back of one of Wades several bikes is to secure it before you get to the island. Everything was all sold out. The same goes for a very small bikes. Hilton Head is a beautiful island if you don’t mind crowds in the summer because it is very busy. It was probably the busiest vacation spot I have ever been to. I wouldn’t hesitate to book your vacation at Wade’s home. We loved it. Thanks Wade for sharing your home.

This home is just beautiful. What a great layout giving each of our families our own “area” with our own bedrooms & bathrooms. The heated & lighted pool & backyard view of the lake right behind us was fabulous! The nightly chorus of frogs was just lovely & we all had fun keeping an eye out for the small alligator. Only a 12 min walk to the beach or even less if you use one if the ten bikes included with the house to ride there! Palmetto Dunes is simply gorgeous & immaculate! All the beautiful homes, landscaping, live oaks & bike paths make it so refined yet laid back & very family friendly. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Wade for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfect spot for our family of four. The Palmetto Dunes neighborhood is laid back and designed well for a run or bike ride (paths throughout and minimal traffic). Beach very close and accessible. Wade was very responsive and the house itself was as advertised. Wifi worked well for "e-learning" and work, great layout and very clean. Bikes and pool / beach accessories in the garage are a nice touch. Backyard pool and lake setting were spectacular and really nice bonus that heat is included for the pool as it really helped on those cooler days. Our kids (9 and 7) basically lived here. They also loved watching the turtles, herons, osprey and baby alligators in the lake!

This was our first time to HHI and we will most certainly be back! Despite the corona virus pandemic, we had an amazing time! The owner Wade was such a pleasure to work with. Any question, email, text was replied to immediately, we will be renting from him again, for sure. This house was THE perfect place to be hunkered down in all week. It has everything you need as far as kitchen supplies, cooking stuff, bath towels, board games, bikes etc. The house is HUGE!! Plenty of room to sprawl out in, multiple living spaces for multiple families and VERY clean. Great sized bedrooms, very comfy beds, huge bathrooms and plenty of them. The (free heated!!!) pool is amazing and the view in the backyard is like watching the nature channel. We watched the hawk swoop down in the lagoon and catch his food, turtles swimming, birds, even saw the neighborhood alligator swimming around. Our kids loved spending hours swimming in the pool and we enjoyed the lovely outdoor space with the deck and area around the pool. House is a very short walk (less than 10 min) or quick bike ride down to private beach access path. The house comes with adult & kids bikes, lots of bike paths to ride on. The community this house is located in is also wonderful. Grocery Stores nearby, lots of amenities available. This was one of our favorite rental houses and we can not wait to return to Palmetto Dunes and explore the area next time.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in Hilton Head. Wade’s home was the PERFECT place to spend Fall Break with our family and Wade was the perfect Host! We were having our last family vacation before one of our son’s starts his medical residency with the Navy and will be gone for at least 7 years and our first grandchild is due in less than 2 months. This beautiful house held our large family of 12 no problem!! With the large kitchen we could get in there with out bumping into one another. The pool was a hit and it was close enough to the beach that those of us that wanted to go could. I would highly recommend this home and will probably rent it again if the opportunity comes again!!

As you can see from photos, the house is amazing. We were surrounded by wildlife (in a good way) and the kids were able to catch some large fish (completely unexpected). The floorplan gives space to all parties and allows separation but also ample place to come together. We had a few minor issues with the pool due to bad weather, and Wade was very prompt in his communications and got it taken care of immediately. This was a spectacular find! The home accommodations are on point! Great experience from start to finish! The home was renovated and is beautifully decorated and furnished. Home is on the lake and the pool is heated. Worth every penny!!!! Homeowners are attentive and prompt. We had family come down from PA and this home accommodated 12 guests very comfortably. I didn’t have a single issue with anything! They have bikes, books, puzzles and games at the home. It’s close to stores dining and the beach. This house was perfect for our family. We rented for our 3 sons and their spouses and 2 grandchildren. The master ‘wing’ which had the master, an additional bedroom with 2 single beds, master bath and sitting area was perfect for our son and his 2 babies. We enjoyed the solitude of the large upstairs bedroom. All bedrooms had their own bath. I think the one son may have been a little disappointed with the bunk bead room. Big pluses for our family were THE BIKES, high chair, pack n play, some baby toys, and THE POOL. We loved the pool. It is heated which was clutch since the weather was not hot while we were there. The big kitchen was great for our big family. plenty of dishes and pots and pans. You might want to bring some spices with you though. The location is fabulous. We bikes to the grocery store and the beach. The Kroger sells $2 draft craft beers. That was fun to shop and drink a beer. Coco’s and The Dune House we’re easy to bike to on the beach. Coco’s is a great beach bar and the Dune House was great for lunch or a drink both are on the beach. We also biked to Mullets which was our overall favorite. It is a food truck with FRESH seafood tacos and sandwiches. You can bring your own beer or adult beverages - food is amazing. They are on the water with picnic tables. Oh the setting on the water of this fantastic home is sublime. FYI Palmetto Dunes makes you feel like you finally reached heaven - so beautiful. Also the car pass is $30 for this glorious sub division- just a FYI. So stay at this amazing home and you will be very happy.

We have vacationed as a family on HHI for the past 30 years. This house is the best we have ever stayed in. The pool is larger then most on Palmetto Dunes and is a fabulous place for everyone to relax. The house is in great condition and well appointed. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and serve all meals. The grand kids really liked sleeping in the bunk beds. All 5 bedrooms were very comfortable. The 15 min walk to the beach was very easy. However, the house has many bicycles that the kids and some of the adults used to go to the beach. We are planning to return to this home again next year.

Two years ago we rented the Anderson home and could not wait to return. This time we found a photo book showing the renovation of the home BY THE FAMILY. I was in tears by the end knowing the love that has been put into this home. It's appeal is now even more cemented in my heart. In addition, there were enough bikes in the garage for every member of our group and the kitchen is stocked better than my own kitchen. This home is quite large - there are moments when I made a wrong turn and lost my way - and finely decorated, but it is welcoming as well. The pool was much used by my family because of the different levels and the pond beyond was a source of extreme interest with the children. They found a large turtle in the pool one morning and it was a highlight of their week. Oh, and did I mention it is only 3 minutes to the beach on a bike (with a striking view) and about 5 minutes to Kroger (a daily trip!). If it were my home, I'd have a tough time allowing strangers use it, but I'm glad the Andersons feel differently.

This house was absolutely amazing and ideal for larger groups. We had 10 people in all. My in-laws rented this house for themselves and each of their boys’ families. There were plenty of rooms so that people could get away from each other when they needed “down time.” The house had excellent larger spaces to do whole family activities. The pool was beautiful and much larger than others on the plantation. This house had tons of extras that made it more like home- bikes, board games, dvds, beach chairs, pool floats, grill, smart tv, and a Keurig. The house is close to private beach access. We did experience an issue with a circuit continually tripping, but Wade was sympathetic, quick to respond and called an electrician. My biggest regret is that the home was so nice, we sometimes didn’t want to leave it and go exploring. That’s a great problem to have! We would be overjoyed to go back to this rental.

We are a group of women who come to HHI every April. This was the first time staying here and we can't say enough good things about this house. Wade and his family did a great job renovating it (be sure to look at the renovation photo album). There is a ton of space. This house easily accommodates 2 families without feeling crowded and each family can have their own suite, if desired. The pool is the largest and the sunniest we have ever had and the free pool heat is a true bonus. The kitchen was well stocked and has 2 ovens! The bikes were a huge hit! You can easily walk/bike to the beach and the grocery store. The house doesn't supply beach towels but we knew ahead of time and threw them in our suitcases. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home in Palmetto Dunes! This house has everything! You feel like you are walking into your own home the minute you walk in the front door! The kitchen has everything you could need, bathrooms had soaps, shampoo, lotion etc! Beds were very comfortable, enjoyed everything about our stay! The pool is fantastic! Many chairs to lounge on and we left a few floats for the pool! Used the gas grill and enjoyed eating out on the deck overlooking the beautiful view! Lovely home, furnished beautifully, back yard inviting! The kitchen made cooking in a real pleasure. Great location convenient to services and the beach yet quiet and private. Just spent a week with a total of 10 guys for a week of golf. The home was exactly as advertised, beautifully decorated, very clean, and very comfortable for the 10 of us, and the heated pool was an added luxury. We get together each year for a golf trip and the consensus was that this years trip was by far the best due to being able to all stay at this home. We usually stay in a couple of condos but in the future it will be a house and if we don't add additional players we will definitely look at staying in this lovely home again. We needed assistance with the WiFi and the owner was extremely timely in getting back to us with the solution I would definitely recommend this property to anyone needing a home large enough to comfortably accommodate 10 to 12 people.

This was a very nice beach home that comfortable fit 8-10 people. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels and supplies like TP to get you started. The property was very clean and well maintained. It is a very short walk or bike to the beach. The owner has a lot of bikes in the garage to ride to the beach so no need to rent them or bring your own which is nice. The best part is the large salt water pool which was enjoyed by all. There is nothing like running or playing tennis or even coming back from the beach and jumping in the pool! It was enjoyed by all and no choline is a big bonus! The pond in the back was great and we were able to observe lots of wild life like birds and alligators. Would definitely come back again. Thanks!

For 17 years we have come to Hilton Head for our family vacation - getting larger and larger houses as our family grew. We always stayed in Sea Pines, but this year with the golf course construction in full swing, we decided to try Palmetto Dunes. I knew the house and pool needed to be extraordinary to counter the fact that we were changing things up. The minute we opened the door and saw the grand house, the pool and the incredible view, everyone adjusted to the change rather easily! In fact, by week's end each person thought it was the best place we'd ever stayed. We enjoyed the salt water pool immensely. Our 6 and 9 year-old granddaughters had to be bribed to come out and the 12" deep section was perfect for our nearly 2 year-old. The light show and waterfall were reasons to never leave. The heat was also very convincing! Of course, the beach is the biggest draw to come to HH, but we found that the route to be shaded and lovely. The available bikes made it seem effortless to come and go several times a day. The closeness of the grocery stores on 278 was also a huge benefit. Inside, the home is well-designed for multiple groups. In our case, we had people from four different families (ages 1.9 to 70 years), but no one felt crowded and privacy could be had at any time of the day. And I can't say enough about the well-stocked kitchen. Part of the fun of vacationing together for us is cooking meals. We all bring our best efforts to the table each evening and it is pure joy to work in this kitchen and enjoy a leisurely meal at the dining table or out on the deck. So glad we took the leap to try Palmetto Dunes. Wade, the owner, made it so we never looked back - good communication, a spotless home filled with interesting art and a garage full of ways to enjoy ourselves. He even threw in a few loud frogs, turtles and alligators! If our family doesn't grow exponentially by next year, we'd love to return. Please let us know when you are ready to take reservations for 2017!

As a celebration of my dad's 80th b-day, my wife and I brought in 5 grandkids of his (so total of 8 people) to Hilton Head. I hadn't been there before. So, picture 80 year old, move slow, mostly crotchety person along with 7, 12, 12, 21 and 22 year olds. Clearly, wide range there. This house was perfect for us. The bedrooms were spread out offering good amount of privacy when needed. The pool was AMAZING hit! Wade (owner) was great to work with, heating the pool to 87 degrees. The younger kids spent hours in that pool. There is a pond in the back where we caught bass, panfish. Also, fed a ton of turtles (catching several!) and even fed a 4 foot alligator. What a treat! Anhinga's, egrets and osprey also were seen. Every night, my wife and walked the 1/3 mile or so, to the beach. I enjoy smoking cigars, so the walk combined with literally no one on the beach was amazing. We went every night for a week and in the 30 minutes on the beach, we saw 2 people total. Wade has bikes that we used, a fun foosball table and some noodles for the pool. Another key point - I was quite tempted to get a place directly on the beach. From our perspective, the substantial per night extra cost is not worth being on the beach. It's short walk (bike ride) to the beach. With the extra $ we saved, we went on a sailboat cruise, a private boat outing for 15 of us AND a really fun outing involving Craig Cats - look 'em up (!), a totally fun, 2 person boat that feels like an airboat but isn't. So, I'd save the money again and stay off beach. For us - just perfect! well, there were only 2 wine glasses, so maybe a couple more of those handy would be nice :)

Staying at this beautiful home made our vacation to Hilton Head even more special. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated and you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Everything inside and outside is well-maintained and very clean and the backyard, deck and pool area are amazing. The owner has not missed anything to make this the perfect place for your stay. The walk to the beach is a relatively short 8 minutes or so with beautiful scenery to enjoy along the way. We also utilized the bikes that are included with the home and enjoyed our rides as much as our walks. By far, this home was above and beyond our expectations and working with the owner was a pleasure.

This home is perfect for a multiple family vacation. It has four separate areas with bedroom and bath for sleeping or private time if needed. It also has a large open concept kitchen, dinning room, and family room for eating or family get-togethers. The house is fully equipped with foosball table, multiple bicycles, washer, drier, TV's and a huge kitchen with all the amenities. Perhaps the most valuable secret is the salt water pool. It is a large beautiful pool with automatic waterfall and nightly light show. Our kids could not get enough! We were four families with four children ages six and under. And of course you have ALL that HHI has to offer at your disposal. We have visited HHI every year since 2009 and this by far was the nicest house home we have ever rented! Simply put we had a perfect week!

After several trips to Hilton Head over the years, this was the first family vacation that we have taken with both of children and their families. We certainly made the right choice in selecting this house. It was just perfect for all 11 of us. It's a very room house and we all felt right at home as soon as we entered. My husband and I took the room above the garage, which worked out perfectly. The pool and backyard was a hit with the whole family. The grandkids loved watching the pool magically change colors at night. We would definitely consider renting this home again for future family vacations. This is the second time my husband and I were privileged to stay in this beautiful home. The decor is gorgeous and unique. There is plenty of room so guests can "spread out" or gather in the large family room. There is a great supply of games and we even put together a large puzzle. The house is extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. The swimming pool is large and was used extensively. The view of the lagoon in the back is beautiful and many times we ate our meals on the back deck. We enjoyed the birds, the alligators and other creatures. It is a short walk to the beach and we spent many hours there too. There are bicycles for riding around the quiet neighborhood. Both times we have been there, the weather was perfect. As you can tell - we loved our stay there. It was a wonderful vacation.

My family has been vacationing in Hilton Head since 1984, all in Palmetto Dunes and this house by far is our favorite!! Beautifully decorated, plenty of space this house has it all! We had 6 adults and 5 children (including an infant) stay very comfortably. This house is awesome! When we arrived the cleaners were still in the house, so we took a walk to the backyard were the beautiful pool sits, it was georgeous! This was everyone's first time to Hilton Head, so we didn't know much. This house is in a gated community which is very safe! The bikes in the garage were perfect, everyone biked everyday! The beach is a short walk or ride down the road.we recommend this house for sure!

We stayed for a week at this beautiful home on Heaven on Earth(HHI). The owner was very nice and helpful and we didn't had any problems with this home .If you are looking for a beautiful home to rent with a great pool, beautiful rooms ,kitchen, bathrooms and great location then this is the place to rent. We will definitely going back next year!!!

My family and I have vacationed to HHI 3 times now. All of our experiences have been wonderful but I have to say our 3rd trip was the best one of all! The house is AWESOME. First, the description is spot on. The house was newly renovated. The kitchen is spacious and the decorations and appliances are fantastic. A major bonus --- prior to my trip, I asked the owner if he had a blender for frozen drinks. He responded that he didn't but that he would have one by the time I arrived (he delivered and bought a Ninja!). All the bedrooms are spacious, beds, bathrooms, etc. are very clearn and accessories are not worn. The upstairs bedroom above the garage also includes a forced air conditioner to assist with temperature control. The pool --- wow! It's a LARGE pool for HHI. It includes a kiddy shelf that was very convenient for our 3 year old. The pool has great depth, gets plenty of sun and the pool heat (stayed in May) was included in my rental agreement --- to me, that is a major plus when renting this home!!! The owner was very responsive to all my questions and always followed up with me. We had a tiny issue with the garbage disposal which was addressed within 24 hours and did not impact our stay. I only mention it because it is an example of how responsive he was... House is located within a easy walk to the beach --- less than 10 minutes. There are bikes and a foosball table... I could go on. I have already recommended this house to family and friends! Book it!

House was more beautiful in person than in pictures. My family, all adults, were pleased with the privacy, the decor, kitchen, and pool. The pool was my personal favorite thing about the house. It was awesome! Grill was great, had bikes available to ride. It was about 10 minute walk to the beach. Lagoon was fun for the nature lovers but be mindful of alligators. Would highly recommend and plan to book again in the future.

We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at this gorgeous, immaculate home. I loved the large kitchen which was well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable. The soft water/salt clorination system in the large swimming pool was so refreshing - no chlorine!!!! The home is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. I want to go back!!!!

I flew in from England for a family reunion and stayed at this gorgeous home for the absolutely perfect vacation! Everything about this home was exquisite! The home is immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully decorated (the photos look nice but don’t do justice to just how beautiful the home really is!). All our needs were met above and beyond. The owners are simply wonderful to work with. The beds were the highest comfort. The saline pool is divine. The view of the lagoon is serene. Everything in the house is top of the line. The large flat screen TV with super comfy couches made family movie nights a fun, theatre-like experience. The house is just a short walk from the beach, but out of the path of the pedestrian traffic. We really enjoyed using the bikes in the evenings. I would love to return to this house annually for our family reunions and would give it the highest recommendation for your stay.

This house was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. I love love love the saltwater pool and we used the bikes everyday. Beach is close and lovely; saw lots of dolphins, turtles, gators and even a stingray. Owners were on top of everything and the trip was seamless; one of the best vacations we ever had! Would love to come back!

The home was very beautifully decorated and included everything you needed. The home was very spacious with plenty of room for our three families. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the daily walks and bike rides on the beach. Everyone watched for Ally (our nickname) Alligator each day and enjoyed the egrets. The owner was very easy to work with. We definitely will try to come back here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head. The house was very clean and we had anything we need. It is just a few minutes to the beach. The area around the house is quite and relaxing. Also the communication with the owner was very uncomplicated. We will come back!

What a home!!! Beautiful inside and out. My family and I enjoyed this perfect home for the week. I recommend this property with two thumbs up!! When we vacation again in Hilton Head we will sure look into staying here again. The owners were great to work with and answered all our questions. Short bike ride to the beach. Pool was awesome. Home was huge. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful place!!!!

We have been coming to Hilton Head for 16 years and have stayed at many different places. This is by far the cleanest home we ever walked into. Beautifully decorated, very functional and many upgrades. The back deck, pool area is just gorgeous. Beach walk is not bad and there is plenty of scenery to enjoy on the way. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood! We will definitely be back!

I've always loved vacationing in Hilton Head, but staying in the Anderson's home put it over the top. The home was in a convenient location and was comfortable, tastefully decorated, and clean to the point of seeming absolutely brand new. It was roomy and will accomodate several families. The pool was large and beautiful and well suited to entertain children and adults. I will certainly stay there in the future.

Lovely home which was extensively renovated in 2013, including a new, pristine in-ground pool with salt chlorination system. Many thoughtful touches throughout. Pictures don't do it justice.Location is better than you would think. Straight shot down Port Tack to beach access, about a 7 minute walk. Also close to Rt. 278 and parallel bike path to anywhere on the island. Bike to Piggly Wiggly or Shelter Cove in about 5 minutes. Rooms are large and comfortable. Each BR with private bath (twin room as part of large master suite). Lots of room, and separate living room to read in or work while others are watching the game in the family room. Pool area is lovely, nicely landscaped, and quiet. My mother in law had a recent knee replacement and had no trouble navigating with a walker. Owner very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely rent here again. Excellent value. Don't tell too many people....

Our recent stay in Hilton Head was fantastic, mainly because of this home. It has been completely updated with new paint, kitchen, carpet, and furniture and is extremely well done. It has 2 master bedrooms, with plenty of beds for kids in different rooms. We found it very clean on arrival. The pool in the backyard is larger than most among the rental units, and also appears new. It was ideal for our kids, and is kept at the perfect temperature with a heat pump. We loved the Palmetto Dunes development, and this home is located in a quiet area, with minimal traffic. Riding bikes to the beach was easy and fun. The owners have really tried to do their best with this home, and it shows. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. He even contacted us after we arrived to ensure that everything was satisfactory. We will not hesitate to stay here again for any future trips and recommend it to anyone considering a relaxing trip to Hilton Head. This is a rare find among vacation rentals and a true blessing for sure.

Our family just had the pleasure of staying a little over a week at this home & Hilton Head & are already counting the days to when we can return. Wade was wonderful to work with & always promptly answered any questions that we had. The home is very easy to find & in a wonderful resort that is not as crowded as some of the others on the island. The home is very close to the beach whether you choose to walk, drive, or bicycle. When we arrived it was immaculate inside & provided everything that we needed for a relaxing vacation (the pictures don't do it justice). We all really enjoyed the pool especially our 19 month old son. The kid shelf, 3d dolphin, lights, & waterfall were wonderful for him & us. We had one day when the air in the master bedroom wasn't working properly but we contacted Wade & it was fixed the very same day! If you are having a hard time deciding on which vacation home to book for your next vacation, I wouldn't hesitate to book this home. We promise that you will not want to leave! Here are also some activities & restaurants close by that we really enjoyed on our stay: *Hudsons Seafood Restaurant (best hushpuppies) *Sweet Carolina Cupcakes (yes we went twice) *Day trip by boat to Savannah *Private fishing trip with May River Excursions (cheapest rates we found & my hubby caught a ton of fish) *Dolphin tour with Live Oac *Spend some time at Sea Pines Resort *Fountain Spa (wonderful pedicure & massages)
