As you enter the villa, you are welcomed by a spacious great room featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living area featuring plenty of comfortable seating for all.
The fully equipped kitchen is recently renovated with new cabinets, countertops, lighting, and appliances to accommodate all of your cooking needs. It is perfect for making meals any time of the day or just for preparing snacks for a busy day of activities. The formal dining table provides seating for eight, plus four bar stools at the breakfast bar for extra seats. Right off the kitchen and entryway is a full washer and dryer to take care of all your vacation laundry.
The living area provides space for the entire family to spread out and relax comfortably while watching their favorite shows or movies on the flatscreen TV. This area also offers extra sleeping with a queen-size sleeper sofa. There is a game table complete with a checkerboard to enjoy those classic game nights!
Enjoy your early mornings or late evenings on the large screened-in porch. Listening to the birds chirp and the ocean waves in the distance will aid in casting away all the worries and stresses of everyday life. The large porch features a table with seating for four, two rocking chairs, and two Adirondack chairs.
Off the entry, you will find a two-piece powder room just outside the luxurious primary bedroom. This bedroom features a cozy king-size mattress and a flat-screen TV. Just off this bedroom, you will find a private balcony with seating for two. This is the perfect space to enjoy a nice cup of coffee before conquering the day ahead. The en-suite bathroom off the primary bedroom features a large walk-in closet with enough space to store all of your favorite outfits, new cabinetry double vanities with enough space to spread out as you get ready for a world-class dinner, a tub, and a large walk-in shower.
The second bedroom features two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, and access to the screened porch off the back of the villa. The second bedroom has access to a full bathroom right outside the bedroom, featuring its own double vanity, a tub, and a walk-in shower.

The Town of Hilton Head Island's 2026 Beach Renourishment Project began on August 6, 2025 at Fish Haul Beach, located off Mitchelville Road on the Island's north end. This vital initiative, part of the Town's long-term beach management program, is undertaken every 8 to 10 years and aims to preserve, protect, and restore Hilton Head's valuable shoreline.
The 2026 renourishment will mirror past efforts (1990, 1997, 2006, 2016) and involves placing approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach-compatible sand across 46,500 feet of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline. Sand will be dredged from offshore shoals and pumped through extensive pipeline systems onto designated beach areas, then shaped by heavy machinery to meet specific design standards.
The $47.5 million project is divided into three phases, with work expected to last until May 2026:

During the renourishment, about 1,000-foot beach segments will be temporarily closed, with beachgoers directed around active work zones via ramps and signage. Construction is expected to proceed 24/7, moving at a pace of 200-300 feet per day, with minor disruptions lasting just a few days for any specific beachfront property
The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:
The project includes safeguards for endangered species. Activities are monitored by consultants to protect sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Per U.S. Army Corps and USFWS permit conditions, dog activity is restricted in a small area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek Beach Park. All other beaches remain under normal seasonal pet access rules.

This was our first trip to HHI, and I was overwhelmed with the options. I cannot say more about this property in Palmetto Dunes- it is beautiful, 30 seconds away from the pool, and not much farther to the beach. We swam late into the night, and always felt very safe. Palmetto dunes reminded me of our small town in Ohio- slow, but safe and easy. We filled our days with fishing, bike rides to play pickleball and a daily venture “out” somewhere: putt putt, trolley ride, shelter cove. The most we had to travel was to actually get TO the main street (Wendover Dunes is one of the last complexes in Palmetto Dunes). We did use the Dune Buggy service, which is another great perk. We visited other areas of the island, and I think we will always come back to Palmetto Dunes. It is central enough to go out but not nearly as crazy as Coligny. Specific to this property, I would recommend to anyone! The screened porch got a lot of use by our family of 7- it was a perfect extension to the house. Everything was beautiful, new and coastal. We absolutely loved Palmetto Dunes. The condo was exactly as described and perfect in every way. Very short and easy walk to the beach or pool. The setting is beautiful and quiet. We loved spending the evening on the screened in porch. The condo is stocked with plenty of towels and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook. As soon as we entered the Palmetto Dunes gated community, I knew my extensive research on HHI locations had paid off. Walking into this condo confirmed it. Exactly as described online. Beautiful condo, walking trail to beach, biking trails all around the property including beach biking. Short walk or bike ride to general store and tennis/pickle-ball courts. Beach bike ride distance to the Dunes House for drinks and beachside lunch. This property has it all. Condo itself was perfectly equipped with everything needed and the extra special touch by the management company to leave care packets of dish soap, laundry detergent, bath soap etc was appreciated. We brought our own beach towels and chairs (we drove from Florida so we had no problem traveling with chairs) but you could avoid this because these were neatly stored in the condo. I can’t say enough about this rental and rental company. Hopefully this condo is available when we plan our next trip.Posted: 5/14/2023

House was beautifully decorated. Games, beach towels and beach chairs were generously shared by owner. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds and pillows were comfortable. TVs had cable provided thru Spectrum. We rented bikes which was fun. We played tennis every day because it was too cold to sit on the beach most days. 8103 Wendover Dunes is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean and situated perfectly for privacy and quiet. We’ve stayed in other WD condos, but this is by far the prettiest and coziest one. Just go out the door, hang a right and you are at the beach in 3 minutes. Hang a left and you are at the beautiful pool and spa area one minute. It’s perfect.Posted: 10/20/2022

Really enjoyed our week at this property. Very close to beach, nice pool, beds very comfortable. Having two master suites was a plus and in addition there was a half bath also. Location was perfect, proximity to pool and beach was great for our family of 5. Condo was very nice, kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs, and comfortable for our family. Loved the screened in porch. Only recommendation the Master bedroom king bed is not very comfortable, you can feel the springs, mattress needs to be replaced with the same mattress in second bedroom.Posted: 6/27/2022

We spent three nights here over spring break. There was plenty of space for two kids and their parents to spread out. The unit is beautifully decorated and most of it has been recently renovated. It was stocked with everything we needed and we especially appreciated having a powder room in addition to two full bathrooms. It truly is just a short walk to get to the beach. Since the weather was a litttle chilly for the beach, we enjoyed the heated pool and whirlpool. Island Time was a pleasure to deal with, and shout out to Felicia who tracked down and mailed a stuffed animal we left behind.Posted: 4/26/2022
