Great accommodations in a great location! Stayed for a 4-day trip with family members. Close to the beach, pool in the yard for those that are not beach people. Shopping and groceries within walking distance. House was very clean, could easily sleep 12+ for a group trip. Management company was easily accessible and very attentive to slight issue with keypad. Would Highly Recommend!

As a veteran vacation home renter I've got super high expectations and Steps Away exceeded on all fronts! Location, as the Real Estate adage goes, is key but even more vital for a premium Vacation home are the three 'C's' - COMFORT, CONVENIENCE and CHARACTER. Steps Away hits a home run with each! Our vacation-hungry crew arrived to thoughtful details like uber-comfy beds with fresh crisp sheets, well-appointed baths, ample and flexible seating and lounge areas for our multiple generations and our always-varied activities, and easy flow between indoor and outdoor action. The charming character infused into the bright, light-filled spaces feels downright whimsical – a factor often lost in the over-homogenized vanilla boxes that litter the landscape of many vacation destinations. So totally refreshing! We also loved the easy breezy walk to the beach (and Pool Bar Jim’s – your favorite vacation concoction awaits!), or browsing the adorable shops at Coligny – in fact Groceries, restaurants – heck even the Liquor store are all right there – we never needed our car! We are already re-booked and cannot wait to return to Steps Away this summer - Yay!

Our family (11 of us!) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 17 Avocet. The house was roomy, comfortable, and conveniently located. We were surprised at how quiet it was in spite of being beside public beach access. One caveat is there is no elevator but my 91-year-old mother was able to navigate the stairs. We also had only one trash cart; trash bags were piled up upon our arrival but were removed overnight on Saturday. We were told that we should have had 3 trash carts and that 2 would be delivered; we never saw them.

Easy access to and easy check out from the 17 Avocet St house. All the beds were comfortable and bathrooms were as expected. The kitchen was appropriately stocked with both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. The grill needs to be replaced as it has age issues.

We got a call shortly before leaving for a home in Palmetto wouldn't be ready :-(. ITHH had an option, a place near Coligny Plaza. This was a much busier area, and we were worried. But it was well appointed, indeed "Steps Away" from EVERYTHING! It worked great!
